Douglas County Health and Social Services provides services at locations in Roseburg, Drain, Canyonville, and Reedsport.
Public Health Division is responsible for planning and leadership in assessing the public health needs of Douglas County residents and developing, implementing, and monitoring preventive health programs designed to meet those needs. Public Health provides immunization services, nurse home visiting programs for pregnant women and for children, family planning, prenatal clinic, and WIC (Women, Infants, and Children Nutrition Services). The Division also is responsible for communicable disease investigations, tuberculosis case management, tobacco prevention and education, and chronic disease and wellness planning and education.
